Tuesdays with MorrieThe Life Curve Award

It is beneficial to use media technology in our everyday lives, but it is harming us if we are used by it. I think this spirit is expressed in the book and movie, Tuesdays with Morrie. It is this spirit that I hope you, my students, will adopt.

Winners of the award receive a copy of the book, Tuesdays with Morrie at the end of each academic year.

The award was created in an effort to promote a healthy competition on campus, sustainability, and total success, that is, not just outward but also inward success. It is given every quarter to the student with the highest score in my classes.

I want my students to know that their competition in classes or athletics on campus should be an ethical and healthy one, and it is achieved only with a balanced style of living. Studying should come first but always be accompanied by relaxation and the enjoyment of different hobbies as well as nature while in school.
